What They're Saying...

I guess we research our next car or big-screen TV -- or even the next movie we see -- more than we research health care treatments. Though some people do that religiously. Plus, health is stuff we'd rather not think about. But we pay for that attitude. What happens in the doc's office is just a small sliver of health care. What we do the rest of the time is just important.

I am wondering when we will actually feel the affect of the new bill?

With all the resources readily available, this shouldn't be too hard, but I feel that most patients don't take the time

Here’s one of my favorite themes: not all health care reform requires an act...
Tweets about the Health Care Reform

©2010 The Regence Group. Regence is an independent licensee of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association in Oregon and Utah, and of the Blue Shield Association in Washington and Idaho.
This is a site about confronting health care costs.

Even after reform, the issue is largely unresolved.

It’s our belief at Regence that the ultimate cure
lies in a new culture: one where prices,
costs and effectiveness are more transparent.

And you, as patients, take a more vital role.

What do you think?
